Juul ended its popular Mint-flavored pods’ sales

The largest e-cigarettes seller of US Juul Labs on Thursday announced that it will now stop selling all mint-flavored pods. This statement comes after this flavor has become very much popular among the teenagers.

In the move, it was seen that this move comes after an anticipated federal flavor ban may take place soon. In a statement from the Food and Drug Administration, it had initially said that the agency would be soon going to ban mint and menthol flavor soon. During the recent time, it was too seen that many vaping and tobacco industries are now against the menthol ban and has heightened the speculation which will exempt from all prohibitions against the flavors.

On Thursday, it said that it would continue to sell all menthol pods as well as other two tobacco products too.

All these decisions from the company side come after the decision was released this week.   It came after two surveys are done on it and to know how it increased among the teens and how they are addicted to this flavor. After the results are announced, it was seen that all federal government, as well as lawmakers, had gone to impose the strict limits on the vast range of e-cigarettes present in the market.
