The six-month-long mega-event - DUBAI EXPO 2020, came to an end yesterday with lifelong memories to be remembered by its visitors.

Crown Prince of Dubai – Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum bidding farewell to the event as the curtains closed down, tweeted, “We hosted the world and as we say goodbye, let’s embrace the future and continue to host the world.”

“As the curtains fall on #Expo2020, emotions are high, and as we say goodbye to 6 amazing months, let us take a moment and appreciate the outstanding work of every individual who made this happen.” 

Minister of Finance of United Arab Emirates, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated – Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also tweeted, “Over the course of 6 months, everyone met at Expo 2020 Dubai. 192 countries combined their cultures, ideas, and aspirations. Millions of visitors from the UAE and the world, and the many events and events that the event hosted, to achieve with its conclusion great achievements and create new horizons, launched from Dubai, the city of the world, to chart the future of the world.”

Meanwhile, the official Twitter account of Dubai EXPO 2020 tweeted, “182 days ago, the heart of Expo 2020 Dubai beat with the opening ceremony of the region’s first-ever World Expo, and today, the same magical Dome awakened in an unforgettable closing ceremony.” 

“In the name of every volunteer and employee, visitor and participant, teacher and teacher, child and girl, Thank you from the heart that beats with your love and prays for you, thank you – Expo 2020 Dubai Team.”
