The whole world is moving towards Vegan food. This January, the Middle East will host its first-ever Vegan Food Festival in the Expo 2020 Dubai to add to this movement.

During this, I would present the flavours around the world in association with Veganuary and Dubai Vegan Days. The food festival will exhibit 250 food concepts from around 190 countries across the globe.

The first-ever vegan festival would be hosted at the Festival Garden on three weekends – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, between January 14 and 30, 2022. It will bring together plant-based chefs and restaurants, food trucks and regional favourites.

This Vegan Food Festival will be informative and fun to hang out with friends and families. It would be filled with sustainable stalls, a vegan and organic spa, entertainment, and chef talks.

Erpingham House, the U.K.’s largest plant-based restaurant (by square footage); Holy Carrot, a British plant-based restaurant, serves Asian-inspired dishes; Papa Burty’s by T.V. presenter Layne Redman serves Jamaican patties.

Evergreen Organics, Qatar’s first vegan cafe, and Mylk, a chocolate and ice cream concept store, all from Doha, are the concepts to look forward to.

Plant-based celebrity chef Matthew Kenney’s Veg’d was among the participants. His plant-based food concepts involve a drive-through food concept based out of California’s Costa Mesa, the Middle Eastern-inspired Xyst; Mudra, known for its gourmet comfort food offerings; and the M.A.K.E. food truck.

On the 29th and 30th of January, Festival Gardens will host Not Just For Vegans, the region’s largest vegan pop-up market, with over 60 businesses.
