Economic experts of UAE to visit PM of Pakistan to discuss economic cooperation

In an attempt to extend their support to the government for economic stability in Pakistan, a group of financial experts from the UAE is all set to visit the nation on Tuesday, 3 May, to discuss the execution of decisions made by the leaders of the UAE and Pakistan during PM Shehbaz Sharif's recent visit to the Middle East.

As per the Prime Minister’s Office, the economic experts of the United Arab Emirates will also be meeting PM Sharif in Lahore today, 3 May. The team will also interact with the economic team of Pakistan and will discuss methods to accelerate economic activities between both nations.

The PM will also be hosting a dinner reception for the tea, which would also talk about the promotion of trade and economic relations and investment.

It was posted on the official Twitter handle of the Prime Minister’s Office, stating, “The meeting will evaluate proposals for intensifying economic activities between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will host a dinner in honour of the delegation.”

The members of the delegation would be made aware of the environment conducive to investment in Pakistan. A discussion regarding cooperation in the fields of economy, energy and petroleum industry is also the target.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, who recently completed his visit to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, gave Eid wishes on Sunday to the rulers and people of Bahrain and Qatar.

As per the PM Office, PM Sharif called Sheikh Tamin bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, to wish him on the auspicious occasion of Eidul Fitr.

“PM Shehbaz Sharif made a telephone call to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, today and conveyed Eid greetings to the Crown Prince and the brotherly people of UAE,” stated PMO on Twitter.
