World famous rapper of America, Coolio, popularly known for his super hit’ Gangsta’s paradise’, dies at 59 in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
59-year-old Coolio was found in an unresponsive condition on the bathroom floor at his friend’s home in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
US rapper’s long-time manager, Jarez Posey, told the media swept in LA that the artist was found unconcious yesterday and later was pronounced dead.
In 1980 Coolio started his career in the Music industry but making the famous Gangsta Paradise in 1995 was one of the significant victories of his overall career.
The exact cause of the death of a famous 59-year-old rapper has not yet come out.
Although Mr Posey told TMZ, which first reported the news, paramedics believed he may have had a cardiac arrest.
Coolio’s real name was Artis Leon Ivey Jr. American rapper won a Grammy for his one of his brilliant works, Gangsta’s Paradise, part of the soundtrack for Dangerous Minds starring Michelle Pfeiffer.
According to the official reports, his famous soundtrack ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ has crossed a billion streams on Spotify and is widely listened to by youngsters all across the globe.
Over a career transiting four decades, the 59-year-old American rapper recorded eight studio albums and won an American Music Award and three MTV Video Music Awards.
His other hits included Fantastic Voyage, Rollin’ With My Homies, 1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin’ New), and Too Hot.
He was active until his death; Coolio was in the middle of a tour with other 90s stars, including Vanilla Ice and Young MC, who performed in Texas just a few days ago.
