Abu Dhabi offers early violation payment facilities, discounts

The General Command of the Abu Dhabi Police recently took to their social media account to share some important details for the drivers of the area. The authorities have called on drivers to take advantage of facilities for early payment of traffic violations.

The police force of Abu Dhabi offered some discounts and services related to early payments. These payments were part of the force’s strategic priority. The police force stated that they wanted to make the community happy. They seek to make the community proactive and provide quality services to the public.

The office of the Abu Dhabi police also took the opportunity to announce these updates. The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols explained that the “Pay and Benefit” initiative aims to facilitate drivers and encourage vehicle owners to pay traffic violations. The police force will install them for a year.

This initiative seeks to raise public awareness of the advantages of early payment of violations. The police stated that the early fees offer several privileges and facilities, avoiding the increase in traffic fines and avoiding the rise in violations.

The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols shared that the initiative includes a 35% discount on the violation. Further, This discount only applies if the offender pays the fine within the first 60 days of the date of committing the violation. Meanwhile, the discount would also not be applicable for dangerous violations.

Further, the police force stated that they would offer a discount of 25% when the offenders pay these violations after 60 days. The offer is further valid up to one year from the release of the violation. Further the police force clarified that the drivers cann pay off violations in instalments through banks with zero interest for 12 months strip.

They added that The credit card should be issued by banks and banks contracted with the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police.
