Bahrain: Health Minster meets Executive President of Royal College of Surgeons

Jalila Bint Al-Said Jawad Hassan, the Health Minister of Bahrain, hold a meeting with Professor Samir Al-Attoum. Professor Al-Attoum is the executive president of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, United Kingdom. During this meeting, many topics were discussed related to the health sector of Bahrain. The health minister Jalila Bint Al-Said Jawad Hassan, stresses that there is a need for better medical education for the strong foundation of the health sector of Bahrain. She also appreciated the efforts of the Royal College of Surgeons for the upliftment of the medical sector.
The minister added that the government of Bahrain is keen to enhance its collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons. She stressed that the global partnership of the Bharain health sector will boost the quality and quantity of health services in Bahrain.

On his part, the executive director of the Royal College of Surgeons stated that the college is taking many initiatives to upgrade the health infrastructure. Colleges have many plans to strengthen the capabilities of medical professionals.

College is also focused on providing necessary training to enable the medical professional to enhance their practical skill. He reaffirmed that in the future, there is a great possibility for the Bharaini health sector to develop.

Many other people were also present during the meeting. Attendees praised the support and intention of the Royal College of Surgeons for Bahrain. Attendees of the meeting expressed positive opinions on the state of the health sector. They hoped that in the future, the health sector of Bahrain will excel in field of health services.

The health minister, while addressing the meeting, said that the “Ministry is determined to provide world-class and cost-effective health services to Bahrain’s citizens at their doorsteps.”
