The Department of Health (DoH) – Abu Dhabi, recognizing this facility’s vital role in enhancing community health services, granted Burjeel Royal Hospital the license to operate 24×7 emergency care services.

Dr Saleh Fares Al Ali, the Centre for Emergency Preparedness and Response executive director at the DoH, emphasized the collaborative effort between the health department and the hospital administration to ensure the successful launch of this critical facility.

“This initiative is poised to address numerous emergency situations effectively, marking a significant and valuable addition for the residents of Al Ain,” Dr. Al Ali stated.

The 25-bed emergency department is led by a team of highly experienced emergency and trauma care experts, including board-certified emergency physicians, nurses, and support staff.
