The Haddad project, heralded as a first-of-its-kind initiative in the region, is designed to bolster security coverage of Dubai’s extensive maritime areas.

The project aligns with Dubai’s broader smart transformation objectives, enhancing operational efficiency while significantly reducing maintenance costs associated with traditional security boats.

Additionally, Haddad is poised to shorten response times during emergencies, providing a swift and effective security presence in the waters surrounding the emirate.

Maj-Gen Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources at Dubai Police, underscored the comprehensive groundwork laid for the project.

“The Haddad project is based on extensive studies, research, visits, and joint coordination with various relevant entities to ensure this project becomes a local and global leading model,” he stated during the signing ceremony.

The partnership with Trident Engineering & Marine signifies a strategic effort to harness cutting-edge technology and engineering expertise in the field of maritime security.

Maj-Gen Dr. Murad emphasized the importance of collaboration in this endeavor, stating that such partnerships are essential for exchanging expertise, knowledge, and specialized sciences to achieve Dubai Police’s strategic goals.

With the implementation of the Haddad project, Dubai Police aim to establish a robust framework for maritime safety that not only addresses current security challenges but also anticipates future needs.

The USVs are expected to play a pivotal role in monitoring and securing vital waterways, including ports and recreational areas, ensuring the safety of both residents and visitors alike.

Furthermore, the initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision of becoming a leader in innovative security solutions. By integrating advanced technology into their operations, Dubai Police are setting a precedent for other law enforcement agencies in the region and beyond.

The Smart Boat project is envisioned as a model of efficiency and effectiveness, integrating high-tech surveillance capabilities and real-time data analysis to enhance operational readiness.

As the project moves forward, it promises to revolutionize the way security is managed in Dubai’s waters, providing a scalable and adaptable solution to meet the emirate’s evolving security needs.

This strategic partnership with Trident Engineering & Marine marks a pivotal step in the development of smart security solutions, reinforcing Dubai Police’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the emirate’s maritime domains.

As Dubai continues to innovate and expand its security capabilities, the Haddad project stands as a testament to the emirate’s dedication to leveraging technology for enhanced public safety.

With the support of leading engineering firms like Trident, Dubai Police are poised to redefine maritime security in the region and set a new standard for the global maritime community.
