Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols under the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police organized an exhibition to educate the public about traffic safety measures at the “Dalma Mall” centre in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Police informed that the event was organised in cooperation with Al-Fahim Car Group and within the fourth edition of the “Safe Summer” campaign, and the third quarterly campaign of the Ministry of Interior under the slogan “Your vehicle safety is your safety”.

Deputy Directorate of Traffic and Patrol Directorate, Major General Saif Hamad Al-Zaabi, confirmed the interest of Abu Dhabi Police in educating the public about taking preventive measures for vehicle safety, periodical maintenance of vehicles and ensuring safety of tires, and not increasing the load on vehicles to enhance the safety of drivers and their companions.

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, the Emirates Continuity Foundation, the Emirates Company for Driving Education participated in the exhibition, the Directorate of Traffic and Patrols organized a variety of shows in the traffic educational theatre, and awareness films were broadcast on smart screens about the dangers of using bad tires.

The Abu Dhabi Police Band presented a collection of its heritage tracks which attracted much interaction from visitors, and the K9 Security Inspection Department made interesting performances for police dogs.
