Armie Hammer enters rehab for alcohol, drug and sex issues!

Armie Hammer, the star famously known for “The Social Network” has admitted into rehab for drug, alcohol and sex issues. The news has come when Hammer is being invested for sexual abuse allegations, which he has denied.

According to the reports, Hammer arrived at a facility outside Orlando, Fla., on May 31. Armie has also reportedly dropped from film projects as well as his talent agency.

As per Vanity Fair, who first reported the news stated that Hammer was taken to the Grand Cayman airport by his wife, Elizabeth Chambers, and their kids. In addition, a source close to Hammer revealed that the actor reached out to Chambers in late May to ask for help and seek treatment. The source also told that Armie would stay at the Florida facility until he got healthy.

One of Armie’s friends supported his decision stating, “This is a clear sign that he is taking back control [of] his life and knows that this [is] a step towards his overall well-being”. Another Hammer family friend said that the actor “is committed to getting healthy and having custody of his kids (Harper Grace, 6, and son Ford Douglas Armand, 4).”

Armie’s wife Elizabeth Chamber, with whom Armie’s been in a custody battle with their divorce in process, is reportedly being supportive of her husband.

Besides, Armie has been in news for his involvement in sexual abuse since the beginning of this year. Some screenshots of graphic Instagram DMs were leaked online, which he allegedly sent to various women between 2016 and 2020. The messages described Hammer’s sexual fantasies including violence, rape and cannibalism.

Additionally, some of Armie’s exes also spoke out and accused the actor of emotional abuse. Later, things took a worse turn for Hammer as a 24 year old women claimed that she was “violently raped” by him stating that they met on Facebook and were in a relationship from 2016-2020, while he was married to Elizabeth.
