The announcement follows confirmation that pop icon Katy Perry will bring the weekend to a climactic close as the Sunday night headliner, as anticipation builds for what promises to be one of the biggest entertainment spectacles in the UAE’s sporting calendar.

David Powell, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer at Ethara, the event organizer, emphasized Boone’s appeal to younger audiences and his dynamic stage presence.

“We are delighted to secure Benson Boone for the 2025 After-Race Concerts line-up and feel his energy and charisma make him the perfect choice to kick-start a thrilling weekend of racing and entertainment across Abu Dhabi,” Powell said.

He added, “Appealing to the next generation of fans was a key consideration in curating the 2025 line-up. We’re seeing a significant shift in audience demographics, with Formula 1 capturing the imagination of younger fans like never before. Bringing in artists who resonate with this emerging audience ensures we continue to deliver a dynamic and inclusive experience that speaks to fans of all ages.”

Boone’s meteoric rise in the music industry has been marked by remarkable milestones. With over ten billion global streams and a sold-out world tour, the artist has cemented himself as one of pop’s most promising young talents.

His January 2024 single Beautiful Things dominated the Billboard Global 200 Chart for seven consecutive weeks and topped charts in several countries including the UK, Canada, Germany, and Australia.

Earlier this year, Boone was nominated for ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2025 Grammy Awards, further boosting his profile ahead of the Grand Prix appearance. His debut studio album Fireworks & Rollerblades, released in April 2024, received critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, now in its 17th edition, will run from Thursday, December 4 to Sunday, December 7.

The Yasalam After-Race Concerts are an integral part of the Grand Prix experience, with exclusive access available only to race ticket holders. Fans eager to get up close to their favorite performers are encouraged to upgrade to the Golden Circle package, which provides premium access closest to the stage.

With two additional international artists yet to be revealed for Friday and Saturday’s performances, excitement is building on Yas Island as Abu Dhabi prepares to host another unforgettable race weekend blending speed, style, and world-class entertainment.

For ticket upgrades and concert access information, fans can visit the official Yas Marina Circuit website.
