Meetings revolved around many regional and international topics of mutual importance with a special focus on the development in the Middle East region. Leaders also emphasised the need to provide timely humanitarian assistance to the unarmed civilians of the Gaza Strip. They also stated that the Middle East conflict would have a negative effect on regional and global stability in future.

The Humanitarian crises in the Gaza Strip after the complete blockade by Israel were also discussed deeply. It is to be specifically mentioned that after the launch of Operation “Iron Sword”, Israel also ordered a complete siege of the Gaza Strip. Moreover, Israel also cut the supply of things for daily needs, including supply of water, oil, electricity, etc.

After the complete siege international community also criticised Israel for the creation of the Humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Even the chief of the United Nations Organisation called the Israel to lift the blockade to ensure the supply of the essentials to Gaza.

Initially, Israel refused to relent, but later on, due to huge international pressure, Israel allowed the limited entry of Humanitarian aid into Gaza.

During the meeting,  leaders also demanded the release of innocent civilians taken hostage by the Hamas. The protection of civilian lives must be a top priority, they further added.

Canadian foreign minister said that Canada will make possible efforts for the protection of human rights in the Gaza Strip. Both the leaders also condemned the recent attack on the Hospital, which caused a loss of the number of lives, including children.
