Abu Dhabi, UAE: The long-going, most successful mega-event – Dubai EXPO 2020, will be coming to an end today (March 31, 2022) on Thursday. To end this long mesmerizing journey, several breathtaking performances of celebrities from across the globe will take place along with captivating fireworks.

The official Twitter handle of Dubai EXPO 2020 cites, “The most amazing event in the world is coming to an end, and it’s time to conclude together with a 6-month journey that brought with it a lot of memories and fun, in addition to amazing experiences and innovations through which we were able to take important steps towards building a better future, but it is only the beginning!.”

“Join us this Thursday, March 31, to say goodbye to six historic months with a spectacular closing ceremony. See global music icons, enjoy dazzling fireworks, and exciting performances unfold beneath the stunning Al Wasl Dome,” then another tweet of Dubai EXPO 2020 adds.

“The greatest show in the world gave them the opportunity to make strides in the path towards a better future and will continue to turn visions into reality and create more smiles with every sip and every bite!.”

Since the beginning of the mega fair, nearly 23 million sightseers have landed in the United Arab Emirates and visited the EXPO. This is indeed a huge margin achieved by the authorities of EXPO 2020, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 outbreak in the world.

There were many individuals who visited the Dubai EXPO 2020 more than seventy (70) times. The last day of the mega event is indeed promised to be a remarkable one, where aerobatic performance will also be showcased by UAE Air Force’s Fursan Al Emarat aerobatics team.

The baton of the Dubai EXPO 2020 will be handed over to the next generation during the closing ceremony.

“Concluding our celebrations of national and honorary days on a high note, we celebrated the BIE Honour Day and welcomed His Excellency Dimitri S. Kerkentzes, Secretary-General of the Bureau International des Expositions,” tweeted Dubai EXPO 2020.
