Travel + Leisure magazine magazines have conducted rankings among the twenty-five best islands in various regions of the globe, and Dominica is also included in the list. The Caribbean country achieved the 8’th position in the survey conducted by the luxury magazine every year.
Travel + Leisure readers are surveyed each year for their thoughts on the best cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and other travel-related topics as part of the World’s Best Awards. Readers ranked islands based on their amenities and vistas, beaches and natural attractions, cuisine, friendliness, and overall value.
According to the readers of Travel + Leisure, to be the best island in the world takes much more than just having aquamarine waters, dramatic coastlines and pristine beaches.
Usually known as “Nature Isle of the Caribbean,” the Commonwealth of Dominica, with its verdant jungles, beautiful black-sand beaches, and natural hot springs, has achieved the eighth position in the survey.
Dominica successfully surpassed seventeen countries enclosed in the list by achieving 91 points in the survey.
