Dubai, UAE: The Director for Gender and Development from the Pangasinan State University in the Philippines, Dr Romary R Lincod, was bestowed the prestigious ‘Director of the Year for Excellence in School Development’ Award during the Chapter V Award Events of the Icons of Asia & Woman Leaders Forum recently at the Crowne Legacy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
As per the update, the Icons of Asia & Woman Leaders Forum – Greatest Entrepreneurs & Educators with the theme “Asian Emirates Dominance Conference 2023 Participating Nations” is a development advocacy platform that promotes awareness of topics including climate change, mental health, education, poverty, healthcare, and others while telling the stories of Asian Leaders & Change Makers.
The Icons of Asia & Woman Leaders Forum is a platform that honours the lives of educators and entrepreneurs making a difference in these fields, presented by Global Empire and Biznation.
The Director for Gender and Development from the Pangasinan State University in the Philippines, Dr Romary R. Lincod, was nominated by Maria Kristina Madarang, a former Caboloan Performing Arts Guild (CPAG) member and alumni of PSU.
A rigid selection process was made through an online interview and examination, which included an essay on the nominee’s achievements.
With sheer determination, discipline, perseverance and the passion for elevating women and gender equality while maintaining quality education, Dr Lincod emerged victorious and found her way to a nine-hour trip to Dubai to receive her award.
Reportedly, the awards forum allowed educators and entrepreneurs in the Asian continent an avenue to have a world-class opportunity to network, advance their skills, learn new things and obtain recognition from honourable ambassadors on the platform of the Woman Leaders Forum.
The Forum focuses on honouring the “Elites of Asia” who pioneered success and accomplishments through tenacity, hard work, devotion and discipline.
