Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) unveiled a cutting-edge digital platform, Logisty, on Sunday, aimed at transforming the commercial transport and logistics landscape in the emirate.

In collaboration with TruKKer, the largest digital logistics company in the GCC region, the new platform is set to provide innovative solutions for businesses, including on-demand booking, tracking services, and fleet management.

Logisty, which is scheduled to officially launch this month, integrates advanced technologies to improve operational efficiency and simplify freight transportation.

One of its standout features is the AI-powered CBM (Cubic Meter) Calculator, which allows users to estimate the volume of shipments by simply uploading photos or videos.

This tool is designed to streamline the shipping process, making it more convenient for users to manage logistics and cargo transportation.

The launch of Logisty is in line with Dubai’s Commercial Road Transport & Logistics Strategy 2030, which aims to bolster the emirate’s economy by enhancing the efficiency of the logistics sector.

According to Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at the RTA, the strategy seeks to double the direct contribution of the commercial road transport logistics sector to Dh16.8 billion.

The plan also aims to increase technology adoption in the sector’s infrastructure by 75% and improve operational efficiency by 10%.

“Logisty supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to position Dubai as one of the top three economic cities globally,” Al Tayer added.

He emphasized that the platform would play a crucial role in integrating advanced technologies into the operations, activities, and services of the logistics sector, enhancing its overall competitiveness and efficiency.

Dubai’s logistics sector has experienced impressive growth, with over 10,000 commercial transport companies based in the city.

Over the past five years, the sector has seen a compound annual growth rate of 34%, underscoring the increasing demand for efficient and innovative logistics solutions.

Logisty is expected to help meet this demand, further reinforcing Dubai’s status as a leading logistics hub in the region.

In addition to freight and fleet management services, the platform offers a user-friendly interface that allows businesses to book, track, and manage shipments with ease.

The seamless integration of advanced technologies aims to provide customers with a reliable and efficient experience, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services throughout the emirate.

The partnership with TruKKer, which boasts a strong presence across the GCC region, MENA, and beyond, ensures that Logisty benefits from the expertise of a digital logistics leader.

This collaboration brings together the best of both worlds: RTA’s extensive infrastructure and TruKKer’s digital capabilities.

The launch of Logisty represents a significant step forward in Dubai’s vision to modernize its commercial transport sector.

By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the platform promises to make logistics more efficient, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective, paving the way for a more streamlined and sustainable future for the industry.
