Dubai’s new Hindu Temple set to inaugurate on Hindu festival ‘Dusshera’

Dubai’s Hindu Temple is set to be officially inaugurated in the first week of October; situated amidst what is known as the ”Worship Village”, Dubai’s new Hindu Temple is located in the Jebel Ali Village and dedicated to 16 deities from the Hindu culture.

The magnificent Hindu Temple in Dubai is opening its doors to the people on the Hindu religion’s auspicious festival of Dusshera, which is on October 5 2022.

The Hindu temple welcomes people from all faiths. TempleTemple has already had its soft opening on September 1, 2022, where thousands of visitors were allowed to get a glimpse of the interiors of the magnificent building.

The 16 deities from all over India will be placed on the exquisitely patterned podiums inside the expansive octagonal-shaped prayer room.

The general manager of the Hindu Temple to be opened in Dubai, Mohan N., said, “The South Indian deities have been carved in black stone.”

Raju Shroff, The trustee of the Sindhu Guru Darbar, stated to some sources, “We will have officials and dignitaries from the government of UAE who will be attending the opening ceremony on October 4. We have some rituals planned as well.”

As announced by the official website of the temple in Dubai new Hindu Temple will be open from 6:30 AM to 8 PM. However, the slots for the majority of weekends in the month of October have already been booked.

Visitors who have already booked their appointments to visit the Hindu temple from Hindu Temple Dubai official website for October 5 2022, will be allowed entry without being subject to the hourly number restrictions currently in place.

As of now, temple management has installed a QR-code-based appointment system to ensure the safety of all visitors during Covid-19.
