Ernest Hilaire, Deputy Prime Minister of the Caribbean Nation Saint Lucia, called on people to cast a vote for their favourite Combined school red door, As a Christmas celebration is about to begin in the Caribbean region. These red door competitions are being organised by many schools to mark the Christmas celebration.

The doors of the school were decorated very beautifully by the school staff with the participation of children. This red-door voting competition is part of the Christmas celebration. This event will encourage the children to participate in the Christmas celebration actively.

Deputy Prime Minster Ernest Hilaire took to his social media handle to invite people to vote. Many primary, secondary, and combined schools of Saint Lucia are pert of this event. There are many other student activists being organised in schools to make the celebration of Christmas Day celebration.

The doors of the participating school, namely “Ciceron R.C Comibnned School”, were decorated with paintings and floral portraits. 

Other participating schools included Cicerom Secondary Frosty’s playground. The door of this school depicted the photo of Santa Claus similarly; other schools that took part are Cicerone Secondary Nutcracker, Cicerone Secondary School Reindeer Choir, Stanley Jon Odlum Memorial Secondary School, La Croix Main Combined School, etc.

Besides these, many other schools are also participating in the Red Door competition as a part of events for the Christmas celebration. 

Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire, while posting on his social media handle, wrote, “It is time to vote for the favourite combined school red door; the Christmas festivities in Castries south continue with our red door competition at our primary, secondary, and combined schools. Votre for your favourite red door and like that photo. They need your help to win the competition for the best door!.”

Many social media user also commented their response to best decorated door.Social media users, namely Lesta Laurencin and others, voted in favour of La Croix Combined School . similarly, other users like Shae Williams , Marguerite Williams along with other users, commented in favour of LA Croix Maingot combined school.
