Fireworks will light up skies of Abu Dhabi on first day of Eid Al Adha

Abu Dhabi in the UAE has come up with an exciting line-up of festive experiences during this Eid Al Adha while offering visitors and residents a weekend packed with events that one cannot miss, from immersive cultural experiences to mesmerising fireworks, a family-fun gaming festival and unmissable 'staycation' offers.

Stunning fireworks will light up the environment of Abu Dhabi Corniche, Al Ain’s Hazza bin Zayed Stadium and Zayed City in Al Dhafra on the start day of Eid Al Adha at 9 pm.

Yas Bay will also show a lively fireworks display during the three days of Eid at 9 pm. Visitors will be able to view the terrace of Yas Bay Waterfront and Yas Mall and make the most of the weekend by taking part in some of the retail as well as culinary deals on offer.

While enjoying the Eid weekend in the UAE, the visitors can also enjoy the 11-day Yas Gaming Festival, which will feature the latest video games and tournaments. The event started on July 7. Visitors can enjoy PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox action, take on legendary games in the retro arcade section or enjoy with friends life-size racing simulators.

The programme will further showcase daily stage games and activations, including Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart, with daily prize quests and Cosplay competitions.

The primary cultural sites around Al Ain will also be hosting community events soaked in Emirati culture during this Eid Al Adha.

Visitors are welcomed to enjoy the festive occasion at Al Jahili Fort, Al Ain Palace Museum, Qasr Al Muwaiji, Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa, Al Ain Oasis and Al Qattara Arts Centre, where they will get treats and gifts for children.

Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa, in partnership with the Creative Space Studio, will conduct an Eid Studio event for families and friends.
