The same was reported by Channel 13. It states that Mossad’s special agent, who has worked as the commander of the Caesarea unit, submitted his resignation letter following a clash of opinions with the director, Barnea.

The spy agency has not revealed the name and identity of the agent because of their agency’s policy and to maintain the secrecy of the work. However, the channel has mentioned that commander “B” has given in the resignation.

As per the reports by the local broadcaster, the Mossad chief blamed commander B that he had made major changes in how the spy agency works. Later, a heated discussion happened between both as the commander failed to impose the necessary changes.

A similar incident was reported in November 2021 as three senior Mossad agents submitted their resignation following a verbal dispute with Barnea, as per the reports by the local media.

The identities and names of the commanders were not released by the agency due for the same reason; however, it was found that all three were at the comparative rank of major-general in the military.
