St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, has announced his visit to Washington DC, United States of America, to be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm. He took to his Facebook account to invite his fellow St Kittians and Nevisians diaspora living in Washington DC, to attend the meeting.

According to the shared updates, Prime Minister Terrance Drew has shared the details and information regarding his visit to the capital state of the US this month through his official social media account. The upcoming diaspora meeting is scheduled at the Embassy of St Kitts and Nevis at 3216 New Mexico Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016.

While calling the Caribbean nationals to the meeting, he noted in his Facebook caption, “I look forward to meeting my fellow nationals in Washington DC.” The update shared by PM Terrance Drew further read, “Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, the Honourable Dr Terrance Drew, extends an invitation to the Kittians and Nevisians living in the Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area, to a Diaspora meeting.”

During his address, he also expressed his immense pleasure following the scheduled meeting. He stated that he would hold an interactive session with the diaspora of St Kitts and Nevis, an essential part of the nation living in different states of the United States of America.

The Prime Minister of the twin island federation, who also serves as the Minister of Health, Terrance Drew, will meet with the diaspora of St Kitts and Nevis on the sidelines of the World Bank / International Monetary Fund Spring Meeting, said reports. It is said that the meeting will host interactive sessions between the people and Prime Minister Drew.

Moreover, it is also said that PM Drew will address several important topics and concerns during the diaspora meeting. It will be a live face-to-face setting, where the nationals living in the US can ask direct questions to their Prime Minister.

Additionally, a few people took to the comment section of the PM’s social media post and expressed their opinions and feeling about the upcoming meeting. A Facebook user named Viona Garnett added, “Yes, Sir, the people want to hear from you there. Safe flight. You are working for the people. THANKS”

On the other hand, “blessed! Reach out and touch is in order as to citizens at home and abroad, a reward on your behalf as to love, gratitude, and respect as to your commitment to maintaining good governance. Big respect: prime minister, sir,” said another Facebook user named Livingstone Buchanan.
