Sheikh Hamdan bin opens Arab Health and Medlab Middle East in Dubai

On Monday, the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, Shiekh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, officially started the Arab Health and Medlab Middle East Exhibition and Congress 2022.

On Monday, the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, Shiekh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, officially started the Arab Health and Medlab Middle East Exhibition and Congress 2022, which is the largest gathering of healthcare and laboratory companies in the MENA region.

Reportedly, there are expectations that the in-person events may witness more than 60,000 attendees. The event would run at the Dubai World Trade Centre for four days, from January 24 to January 27.

 

More than 3,500 exhibitors from 60 countries would showcase the latest innovations and technologies according to the latest information. The attendees will have the advantage of 21 Continuous Medical Education (CME) conferences, which would deliver scientific lectures, keynote speeches and industry briefings.

 

The benefits of the event were highlighted by the host – Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. The crown prince of Dubai stated that it is important to host the event, especially during the time when the whole world has been dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sheikh Hamdan praised the healthcare sector of UAE and Dubai for their remarkable level of capabilities and readiness. He further added that the infrastructure and highly-quipped doctors, and the health care staff members have effectively helped the nation to combat the global pandemic over the last two years.

 

During his tour, Sheikh Hamdan paid a visit to the DHA’s stands and briefed about the service and smart applications, such as the ‘Dubai Heart Safe City Project’, ‘Doctor for Every Citizen’ and ‘NABIDH project,’ launched by the Authority. Details about a number of “Made in Dubai” medical as well as pharmaceutical products were shared by his Highness

 

He also explained about the digital services and innovative products as well as initiatives in the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention.
