Sheikh Mohammed appreciated and congratualtes winners 25th edition of the Dubai International Holy Quran

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE (United Arab Emirates), received guests of the President, scholars, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as judges, guests and supreme committee members of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, at the Shindagha Majlis in Dubai.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE (United Arab Emirates), received guests of the President, scholars, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as judges, guests and supreme committee members of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, at the Shindagha Majlis in Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed, during the presence of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; and Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received his guests and exchanged greetings with them on the auspicious occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

He also discussed with everyone about the noble values that the sacred month inspires in individuals. Sheikh Mohammed announced that under the leadership of Sheikh Khalifa, the UAE continues to practice tolerance and moderation, as well as promote peace and compassion among the nations of the world.

He then congratulated and appreciated Sheikh Ibrahim bin Al Akhdar bin Ali Al Qayyim for winning the Islamic Personality Award. He also congratulated the top 10 winners in the 25th edition of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award and wished to win them success in their future endeavours.

The 25th edition of the Dubai International Holy Quran Competition is one of the most significant activities of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, founded and funded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

According to Dr Saeed Hareb, who is the Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Dubai International Holy Quran Competition, the silver Jubilee edition was the most influential session ever, and it finished with victory and excellence.

Hareb also said that the number of participants had crossed 70 this year. He thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, for his unwavering support for the prize.
