South-Korean President visit Saudi Arabia, hold talks with Prince Salman

On his second stop in the tour of the Middle East, President and his wife were honoured by the great marching band and further greeted by the crown Prince on the tarmac.

While following the protocol associated with the novel coronavirus, both the leaders were masked and hadn’t shaken hands with each other in the wake of social distancing practices.

As several world leaders have resumed the bilateral meetings and trips to the foreign countries after the COVID-19 vaccine rollouts in many parts of the world, it was also the first meeting of the President to Saudi Arabia.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has taken over the rule f the country from his father, King Salman, and since the pandemic has an outbreak in the country, King hasn’t appeared much in public. So, It wasn’t in anyone’s notice that President Moon would also meet King Salman.

With the Vision 2030 reform agenda, the crown prince wants to diversify the kingdom’s economy by enhancing the relainicing oil and modernising its soceity. So, the orince is looking for investment in the mega projhect, which includes artificail intelligence, education and energy sectors.

Both the leaders have talked about enhancing bilateral relations with each other and moved forward to way support in different fields.

They further discussed the latest developments at the level of the regional and international and the efforts are made by the countries to reach the level of peace and developments in different fields.

As per some reports, both countries could sign deals in energy and renewable source as well as technology and healthcare. During the South-Korean investment forum held in Riyadh, both the leaders could sign a deal.

Further, President Moon firstly stayed in the UAE, and then he came to Suadi Arabia, and he would also visit Egypt after this.
