The nominations for one of the highly respected award shows- Emmy Awards 2021 have been announced.
The announcement for the 73rd Emmy Awards nominations was made on Tuesday morning by the father-daughter duo- Ron Cephas Jones (This Is Us) and Jasmine Cephas Jones. As expected by the people, some of the major Television shows are on the list competing for the prestigious award.

“The Crown” and “The Mandalorian” are leading the way with 24 nominations each. These two shows are followed by “The Handmaid’s Tale”, “Wanda Vision”, and “Ted Lasso.” Other than that, HBO’s “Lovecraft Country”, which has only one season is also high in the race with 18 nominations. The second season of the show was recently cancelled by the platform.
This year marks the 73rd ceremony of the Emmy Awards, which will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. The event is planned to take place with the limited live audience of nominees and guests. The 73rd Emmy Awards is set to air on Sunday- Sep. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS. Moreover, the event will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
