UAE President congratulates citizens on occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary

The UAE's President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended congratulatory wishes to the nation's citizens on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhhamad on Friday.

The UAE’s President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended congratulatory wishes to the nation’s citizens on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhhamad on Friday.

 Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, expressed his congratulatory wishes through Twitter on Friday.

On his official Twitter, the President of UAE shared a post with the caption, “we continue to be guided by his noble character, his timeless values, and his inspirational legacy of kindness, friendship and empathy for all of humanity”.

Several cities in UAE, including Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, have announced free public parking on the occasion of the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

In most Islamic countries, the Prophet’s birthday is observed on 12 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1444, the third month of the Islamic calendar.

This year the auspicious occasion falls on October 8 2022, Saturday.

 The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation of UAE announced paid leave in all private organisations on October 8 2022, Saturday, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the public holiday on Tuesday.

This Public holiday will witness observance rather than celebration. It is said that the festivities will be kept minimum.

The public and private sectors in the Emirates typically have unified holidays.

The remaining two public holidays will honour Commemoration Day and the UAE National Day in the nation.

Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) on Tuesday tweeted through their official social media wording, “UAE’s The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) announces that Saturday, October 8, 2022, Rabi Al-Awwal 12, 1444 will be a paid public holiday for the private sector on the occasion of Birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”
