Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The Middle East country recorded a total of 447 new cases of the novel coronavirus in 24 hours, as of March 4, 2022. These individuals tested positive from a total of 370,472 COVID-19 tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the data shared by the Ministry of Health in the report.
With the reporting of these additional cases, the total margin of confirmed COVID-19 infections has hiked to 881,919. Although, the Ministry informed that all the individuals who contracted the deadliest virus are in stable condition and are getting the required care.
Moreover, no new death has been recorded in the time period of the past 24 hours; thus, taking the total number of deaths to 2,301 in the Middle East nation.
The Ministry of Health has paid condolences to the families of the deceased.
According to the data shared by the health ministry, there are a total of 1,436 who fully recovered from the contagious viral disease in the past 24 hours, bringing the total count of the recoveries of the Middle East nation to 840,083.
Vaccination statistics of the country:
In the United Arab Emirates, there are a total of 9,890,556 individuals are partially inoculated while taking the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccines. This number represents nearly 99 percent of the total population of the United Arab Emirates.
On the other hand, there are a total of 9,504,825 individuals who have received their required number of the COVID-19 vaccine doses and are now in the category of fully vaccinated individuals, representing around 96.1% of the total population of the United Arab Emirates.
In terms of the booster shots, there are a total of 4,768,237 persons in the Middle East nation who have received it. This number of individuals represents around 48.2% of the total population of the United Arab Emirates.
