Mumbai, Maharashtra: Eric Garcetti, United States Ambassador to India, has recently paid tribute to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack during his recent visit to Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.Â
The Ambassador posted a tweet regarding his visit and noted that this visit was dedicated to the memorial of those whose lives were lost in the attacks.
During his Mumbai visit, Eric Garcetti also visited the Gateway of India following the meeting with Governor of Maharashtra Ramesh Bais and fruitful conversations. He experienced a beautiful sunrise at the Gateway of India and stated that it was one of the best experiences of his life.
During his visit, Garcetti also held a meeting with the former Indian Women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj and exchanged words with her while expressing love for cricket. He also admired the grace of Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue, located in Mumbai.
He added in his tweet that “My tour at the institution was lovely, and I also get to learn from Solomon Sopher regarding the legacy of the Jewish community and their contributions.” He also addressed that he stopped by to try delicious bun maska and chai at the famous Kyani and Co., which is a famous café in Mumbai.
Eric Garcetti, in the context of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United States, has expressed that he is excited and thrilled. He emphasized the growing relationship between the United States and India.
Meanwhile, Eric Garcetti also spoke to the Indian reporters and stated that he is extremely thrilled that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United States of America will be proven to enhance the mutual relationship between both countries. PM Modi has visited the US, which is the third instance in the last 75 years.
He stressed that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on his official state visit to the US, which will commence on June 22, 2023. United States President Joe Biden will host PM Modi during his meeting with the US delegation along with Frist Lady Jill Biden. PM Modi will be hosted at the dinner in the White House, reports added.
