During the inspection, cleaning and waste removal are ongoing in all governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain to maintain public health.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture confirmed that the organisation is patrolling through the secretariat of the capital and the three municipalities (Mahraq, South and North), lifting the rubble and construction waste accumulated in public squares, noting that cleaning and sweeping works are ongoing throughout days of the week and throughout the year in all regions of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In the same context, the Ministry pointed out that it has also recently cleaned rainwater drainage channels and suction operations in preparation for the rainy season in order to maintain public health and reduce the spread of seasonally spreading mosquitoes, assuring that sanitation works Disinfection and removal of waste are done according to an approved mechanism and that works Monitoring is ongoing for dry water collection sites, construction debris and debris to be dealt with immediately.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture also stressed the need to stick to regulations and laws in the disposal of waste and to preserve the public good, referring to the launch of ongoing awareness, hygiene and the implementation of the Public Hygiene Law, and highlighting the existence of a hotline to receive disaster Ghat and observations regarding sanitation work and rainwater collections.
