Oregon Health Authority Reports More than 800 Cases!!

According to data gathered by Oregon Health Authority, several increased cases are regularly uprising in Oregon for the past 3 months. Oregon’s seven-day regular cases reach 821 cases per day. This news is according to data collected on the 30th of April. Hospitalizations dropped to 331 beds, which is three beds less than earlier days. 71 coronavirus patients are also in ICU beds.

Oregon Health Authority declares the total number of coronavirus positive patient bed-days in the recent week is 2,268, which is a 23.3% increase from the past week. The peak cyclic number of beds occupied by COVID-19 positive patients this week is 339.

OHA extends sympathies to all of those who have lost a house member, friend, colleague, or community member to COVID-19.” The Oregon Health Authority listed 756 newly confirmed cases of this virus causing the statewide total to 186,344.

On Sunday, 22,443 vaccinations are bought to the state immunization registry. From those, 19,147 doses were delivered on Saturday, and 3,296 were delivered on earlier days but were inscribed into the vaccine registry on the 1st of May.

The updated risk levels are going to affect by today:

The countries that are at extreme risk are Baker, Crook, Deschutes, Clackamas, Columbia, Grant, Jackson, Linn, Klamath, Lane, Marion, Multnomah, Josephine, Polk, and Wasco.  

“Shutting down our restaurants and stripping Oregonians of their right to make determined community commitment risks when COVID continues to spread remote will not result in success,” states the letter, collectively signed by, among others, Clackamas County Chair Tootie Smith, and Washington County Chair Kathryn Harrington too the four other division commissioners in each of Portland’s provincial counties. “We can turn the script by excluding state-mandated business constraints on communities.”
