The ministry, reportedly, said that it was ready to cope with any of the threats and would do whatever it took to protect and save the citizens of the country from the attackers.

For more than six years, the Houthis have been battling with a Saudi-led coalition by repeatedly executing cross-border drones and missiles on Saudi Arabia.

Amid all the tension, last week, an Iran-backed militia attacked Abu Dhabi with a drone killed the three people. The attack sparked worldwide condemnation.

On Sunday, two people were severely injured after ballistic missiles hit Jazan.

Monday’s attack was the second on the UAE since the last week’s strike, which thumped the fuel depot in Abu Dhabi and killed around three people, causing fire near the international airport of Abu Dhabi.

As per the reports by a local television network, the details would be announced by the group within the hours and the “wide military operation” against Saudi and the UAE will also be evaluated.

Saudi state media stated a Houthi ballistic missile had fallen at the south of the kingdom, damaging several workshops and vehicles, as well as injuring two foreigners, late on Sunday.

The Saudi-led alliance has increased their airstrikes at the Houthi targets in Yemen. On Friday, around 60 people were killed, following the strike hit the temporary detention centre, whereas, on Tuesday, around 20 were killed during an operation in Sanaa.
