UAE reports 369 new cases, zero deaths

In United Arab Emirates, a total of 369 new infections of the COVID-19 virus have been recorded by the health ministry today, on March 10, 2022. 

Abu Dhabi, UAE: In United Arab Emirates, a total of 369 new infections of the COVID-19 virus have been recorded by the health ministry today, on March 10, 2022. 

Although, no additional death has been recorded. A total of 1,225 patients of the contagious virus got recovered and were discharged from the hospital facilities, the report’s data of health ministry adds.

With the arrival of these fresh infections of a novel coronavirus, the total tally of the active and confirmed cases increased to 34,022 and 884,354, respectively. 

These cases were reported from the total 372,764 tests of the COVID-19 conducted by the healthcare staff in the past 24 hours. 

The total virus recovery rate has been increased to 848,030. For the present time, the overall death rate of mutants has hiked to 2,302, the data further notes. 

COVID-19 vaccination in UAE: 

An additional 11,668 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Middle East nation in 24 hours; the total number of administered doses stands at 24.2 million.

The rate of doses in the UAE is 245.49 doses per 100 people.

There are a total of 9,890,279 individuals in the Middle East nation who have taken their at least first dose of the novel coronavirus vaccines and are partially vaccinated, representing 100% of the targeted eligible population. 

Meanwhile, so far, 9,534,229 citizens of the United Arab Emirates have taken their needed number of the COVID-19 vaccines and are now fully vaccinated against the mutant. This number of UAE citizens counts for around 96.4% of the total population. 

On the other hand, there are a total of 4,829 423 individuals in the United Arab Emirates who are fully immunized as well as have taken their booster shot of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines, as per data of the health ministry. 

Moreover, the mandate mask wearing for the students and pupils have been now made optional, as per the new COVID-19 containment measures.
