Dubai: Sheikh Mohammed meets Presidents of Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mauritius

Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, its Minister of Defence, as well as the Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai - Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with the dignitaries of the three African countries during his visit to the DUBAI EXPO 2020 on Monday, March 14, 2022. 

Abu Dhabi, UAE: Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, its Minister of Defence, as well as the Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai – Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with the dignitaries of the three African countries during his visit to the DUBAI EXPO 2020 on Monday, March 14, 2022. 

Sheikh Mohammed met with the President of Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mauritius, stating that several significant agreements have been penned down between both the countries, with the motive to increase their trade as well as investment exchanges between the three nations.

Along with paying a visit to the pavilions of Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mauritius, Sheikh Mohammed also toured those of Kenya and Rwanda. During his tour, the authorities of Kenya and Rwanda briefed Sheikh Mohammed about the rich heritage culture attractions as well as on the tourism projects of the African countries. 

Sheikh Mohammad wrote on his Twitter handle, “The UAE is one of the largest global investors in Africa and accounts for 88 per cent of Gulf investments there”. 

In addition, Sheikh Mohammad, on his Twitter handle, highlighted that the real soft power of the United Arab Emirates lies in the country’s development model, which will assist it in bringing East and West together.
