UAE records 301 new COVID cases

The Middle East country recorded a total of 301 additional cases of the novel coronavirus today, March 29, 2022, Tuesday.

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Middle East country recorded a total of 301 additional cases of the novel coronavirus today, March 29, 2022, Tuesday. This takes the overall number of COVID-19 active cases in the country to 22,295. 

The data was shared by the Ministry of Health and Prevention in its COVID-19 daily update report.

Meanwhile, there are a total of 873 COVID-19 patients who recovered from the mutant and got discharged from the hospital facilities as of March 29, 2022, the data further reveals. 

Although no additional death has been recorded by the health ministry of UAE in the past 24 hours, as of March 29, thus, the overall death rate of the Middle East nation remains at 2,302. 

The COVID-19 situation in the United Arab Emirates is improving. 

To date, there are a total of 9,890,221 citizens of the Middle East country who have taken their at least first dose of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines and are in the category of partially vaccinated individuals. 

The above number of individuals represents nearly 99% of the total targeted eligible population of the United Arab Emirates, as per the data. 

On the other hand, there are a total of 9,603,404 individuals who have taken their recommended number of the COVID-19 vaccine doses and are now fully vaccinated against the deadliest viral disease so far. This number of citizens accounts for nearly 97.1% of the total targeted population of the United Arab Emirates.

Meanwhile, there are a total of 4,962,913 individuals who are fully vaccinated and have also taken their third dose (booster shots) of the COVID-19 vaccines. This number of individuals accounts for around 50.2% of the total targeted eligible population, the official data further cites.
