Dubai Food Festival to showcase itself as global culinary capital

The Dubai Food Festival celebrated the Emirate as an international culinary capital this year. The festival will demonstrate the most exciting gastronomy offerings and outstanding sensualist experiences in the city.

The 14-day city-wide food festival started on May 2 and will end on May 15.

Dubai is luring the most vibrant diner with irresistible flavours from around the world as over 12000 restaurants and cafes are taking part in this festival.

Residents and citizens will be experiencing everything from world-famous chefs and restaurant brands from different parts of the world to street food as well as home-grown restaurants that are inspired by more than 200 nationalities residing in the city.

Festival Plaza is all geared up to launch the first-ever mall-led supper club during the occasion of the Dubai Food Festival in celebration of good food along with a good cause. The first edition of the Festival Plaza Supper Club will be hosted by DJ and radio presenter Jade Worsley and is all set to take place on May 12 around 6 pm on the mall’s first floor.

A special guest that will arrive for the launch, Madame Vo from the Chinese-themed supper club, Haus of Vo, will be discussing stories about her passion for making exquisite meals as well as about her culinary adventures. The evening will also feature a special menu curated by the world-famous chefs Munish Rana and Rahmat Hidayatfrom the Asian restaurant Ming’s Chamber.

The Dubai Food Festival will be offering the best authentic tastes that the city has to offer during the Dubai Restaurant Week that will be organised from May 6 to 15. The visitors will have an option to choose from signature experiences at participating restaurants offering epicurean set menus that will be starting from just Dh 95 for lunch and Dh 150 for dinner.
