The city will open up in different phases, with the Alif and Terra pavilions to make a comeback in September.

With a focus on environment and the technology, it will serve as a destination of its own, operated by the nearest Dubai World Central airport and the metro link with the city centre. The city would also be connected to a port and two airports.

Sheikh Mohammed further wrote, “After the historical success of Expo 2020 Dubai, visited by over 24 million visitors, left a mark in the 170-year history of world exhibitions, today we inform the transformation of the exhibition site in Expo City Dubai, a new city that will represent the ambitions of Dubai.”

Expo City Dubai will be an environment-friendly city that serves families and future generations.

Sheikh Mohammed further wrote, “The magic of Expo will continue.”
