Canadian rapper Aubrey Drake Graham, officially known as ‘Drake’, paid his tributes to Indian singer Sidhu Moose Wala by wearing a t-shirt with his name and picture imprinted on it during a concert in Toronto.

Drake was performing live during a warm-up concert before his upcoming OVO Fest Tour in Canada, where he arrived wearing a white t-shirt. The performance was held on Thursday, July 28, at History, a new venue in Toronto.

Sidhu Moose Wala, aka Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was assassinated on May 29, 2022.

Drake stated during his performance, “I’m here tonight, grateful, just as a kid who grew up wide-eyed. I’m a fan, and I’m one of you tonight. I’m grateful to be from the greatest city in the world.” The video of him has gone viral on various social media platforms.

After Moose Wala was killed earlier this year, Drake initially paid his tribute by posting a story on his official Instagram handle in his honour. Now, even after two months after his death, he made this kind gesture in his memory.

Sidhu Moose Wala had always said that Drake was one of his musical influences and followed him regularly on social media, and was a regular performer at live concerts in Canada.

On the other hand, the well-renowned artist’s father has also paid an emotional tribute by getting his son’s face tattooed on his arm, who died so soon.

Moose Wala was shot dead alongside his village Mansa in Punjab a day after the Bhagwant Mann government scaled down his security.

This move by the famous Canadian singer, Drake, shows that the world has not yet forgotten the Indian singer whose assassination has sent the whole world in a state of shock, and even the world-famous celebrities are paying their tributes to him in their own ways.
