The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed inaugurates a new outpatient building of Dubai Hospital, featuring 128 specialised clinics equipped with the latest technology as well as AI solutions.

The Crown Prince of Dubai shared the footage online showcasing the event and the details regarding the new clinics and the price of the whole expansion project, stating that health care is a topmost priority for the Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.

Sheikh Hamdan wrote on his official Twitter post that he inaugurated the new outpatient building of Dubai Hospital, which comprises 128 specialised clinics equipped with recent technology and AI solutions. The Dh177 million [$48m] expansion project expands the hospital’s capacity by over 200%.

The 32,000 sq metre building has over two and a half times the number of clinics of the earlier one. It also assesses the requirements of people of determination and following the green building standards and codes.

Sheikh Hamdan was welcomed by a delegation of directors as well as officials directed by Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, the director general of the Dubai Health Authority.

After the launch of the new building, the Crown Prince was explained by Al Ketbi the services available in the new building.

The Crown Prince also took a tour of the building and examined different departments, including clinics and suites. Each floor comprises of reception areas, preliminary assessment rooms, medical examination rooms, consultation rooms, and separate waiting areas for men and women. There are also prayer rooms in it.

The building’s ground floor consists of diagnostic areas, including radiology rooms, medical laboratories and a pharmacy.

The first floor comprises of 37 specialised clinics, including ENT, internal medicine, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, and rheumatology. There are 43 clinics on the second floor, including endocrinology, cardiology, oncology, haematology, surgery, and allergy and immunology. On the third floor, there are 48 clinics which offer services in various fields, including obstetrics and gynaecology, kidney, urology, and dental diseases.

Sheikh Hamdan also listened to DHA’s plans to utilise the fourth floor for further expansion. Al Ketbi stated that the launch was part of a series of projects executed by the DHA.
