When the victim filed a complaint after being attacked by unidentified persons, he mentioned in the statement that cash worth Dh1.7 million was defrauded from a safe which belonged to his business partner.

The incident took place when the suspect knocked at the door during the victim’s hours and pretended that he had reached the wrong place. As the victim was about to shut the door, the accused pushed him as well as moved forcefully into the house, and the victim fell to the ground. Later on, he was tied to a chair.

In addition, the suspect accessed the key to a safe place under the table. They stole the money and escaped the house.

The victim tried to gather himself and contacted his partner as well as the police officials to inform them about the robbery.

In his testimony, the partner of the victim shared the information with the police officials that he arrived at the house and saw it in a mess, as per the sources.

Along with this, a preliminary investigation by police officials revealed that the accused had infiltrated the nation. The authorities tracked them down as well as taking them into custody.

The accused confessed to the crime at the time of interrogation.

On the other hand, a man from Dubai was sentenced to one month in prison after conning a female into investing Dh 500,000 in a business partnership that turned out to be a sham.

Furthermore, the victim mentioned in the statement that she met the man in the emirate’s City Walk as well as at that time, he stated that he was a pilot, according to the court records.
