Bahrain: Minister of Health receives Ambassador of Republic of Indonesia

Her Excellency Dr Jalila, daughter of Mr Jawad Hassan, received the Minister of Health, His Excellency Mr Ardi Hermawan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination in the health sector, meeting the shared interests of the two friendly countries.

Her Excellency Dr Jalila, daughter of Mr Jawad Hassan, received the Minister of Health, His Excellency Mr Ardi Hermawan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination in the health sector, meeting the shared interests of the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, Her Excellency welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, commended his efforts to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries, and the achievements of cooperation in the health sector, especially in the field of medical experience, as well as modern technologies in the field of health Digital, Research, and Genomics.

On his part, His Excellency Ardy Hermawan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Health, citing important, relevant topics discussed and emphasizing his country’s interest in expanding bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially in the health sector.

As the health sector in the Kingdom is developing and modernizing, continuing to reinforce its role in supporting the country’s development journey.

Recently The National Genome Centre, in cooperation with the Bahrain Culture and Archaeology Board, organized the National Genome Campaign for the board’s staff at the Bahrain National Museum as part of its efforts to raise community awareness of the importance of participating in the campaign.
