The UK-based asylum seeker Avtar Singh Khanda was identified behind the protest held in Sunday and his father was the terrorist of the Khalistan Liberation Force. He has been supplying the funds through Gurmit Singh Bukanwala. According to the reports, it was Khanda who has taken the Sikh radicals to outside the Indian High Commission at the Sunday protest.

The government of India has been asking the British system to respond to the intelligence towards anti-India Khalistan separatists since the ant-CAA Kashmir protests outside Indian HC in 2019. However, the government of the United Kingdom has not taken strict actions against them. According to the various reports, it was stated that they are promoting disaffection towards India and the Narendra Modi government in particular.

The entire situation came into light after the British government-funded BBC released the documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi showing the 2002 Gujarat riots despite the Supreme court giving a clean chit to the former Gujarat Chief Minister.

Along with that, the government of India has also been watching the response of the Rishi Sunak government against the anti-India protest planned by “Sikhs for Justice” group in the UK on March 22. Moreover, the government also issued alarm to the British system including MI-5 to the planned Sikh extremist protest on Sunday.

The government of India showed their anger over the “Tricolour” incident on Sunday and the British government will have to focus on it.
