St Peters, St Kitts and Nevis: Dr Terrance Drew – The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, participated in the Pre-Labour-Day Meeting held in Constituency Eight of St Peters yesterday, April 23, 2023, at 8 pm. The meeting was hosted on the sidelines of the ongoing Labour Weekend Celebrations, 2023, across the country.

According to the updates, Prime Minister Terrance Drew took to his official social media account to share glimpses and information regarding the event. He stated that the Pre-Labour-Day meetings are currently on the move in the nation following the commemoration of World Labour Day on May 01, 2023.

While sharing the update, he expressed his heartiest gratitude towards the people of the Constituency of St Peters for attending the event and sharing their valuable feedback with the ministers of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP).

As per the reports, PM Drew was accompanied by the minister of his cabinet during the Pre-Labour-Day Meeting. In his opening remarks, he addressed the citizens of the Constituency of St Peters and began by expressing his excitement and happiness for being a part of the event.

Meanwhile, he also extended his heartfelt thankfulness towards the people of St Peters for showing immense trust and confidence in the government of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) during the elections held last year. In this regard, he noted, “In the last elections, Labour made history in Constituency number eight.”

He continued his remarks and outlined that the government of SKNLP has done exceptional work since its formation as the national government; he added, “This was the biggest win of SKNLP in the history of Constituency of St Peters. It was the clean sweep.” In addition, he also mentioned the vital role played by the citizens of St Peters and thanked them for their immense support and love towards the government.

Moreover, he extended his address and mentioned the work and efforts done by the SKNLP government and said, “Comrades! We have a lot to be thankful for with your Labour Party; we have done an exceptional job since we got in into office, but it could not be possible without your support, hard work and our strong team of ministers.”

Prime Minister Terrance Drew of St Kitts and Nevis further outlined related aspects of the victory of SKNLP while mentioning that as the nation approaches the World Labour Day to be celebrated on May 01, 2023, the people of St Peters Constituency came to attend the event to support the Labour Party.

While concluding his address, PM Drew called the citizens of St Peters and said that people had made the right decision to trust the government of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party over the previous government, which did not deliver the best policies for their people.

The reports also stated that under the leadership of PM Terrance Drew, several other representatives of different constituencies of the nation also delivered their remarks and addressed the people on essential topics.

It was also said that the SKNLP government has been organizing similar events of Pre-Labour-Day meetings across the country under the theme of Labour Weekend Celebrations, 2023. Similarly, Prime Minister, along with his delegation, hosted a meeting in constituency four of Halfway Tree and interacted with the people.
