St Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Terrance Drew, has recently participated in a Townhall Meeting held yesterday (Thursday), 15 June 2023, at 6:00 pm at the Conaree Community Centre.
The meeting held discussions over different aspects related to the Conaree Football Stadium. The Prime Minister was accompanied by his delegation, the Public Works Department and the Department of Sports of St Kitts and Nevis.
According to recent reports, prior to the commencement of the Townhall meeting, Prime Minister Terrance Drew took to his official social media handle to share information regarding the event. He extended heart-warming invitations to the citizens and residents of the Caribbean Islands to attend the meeting via a number of social media channels.
While taking to his official Facebook account, Prime Minister Drew noted that “I am inviting the Conaree community to join us this evening at 6:00 pm at the Conaree Community Centre.” In this context, it has been reported that the Townhall Meeting commenced at the Conaree Community Centre shed light on the significance of the Conaree Football Stadium for the locals in different manners.
As per the reports, it has been gathered that the Prime Minister of the Twin Island Federation, Terrance Drew, has also delivered his opening remarks at the meeting. He mentioned that the football stadium and its offered facilities and opportunities provide a remarkable platform for national athletes and sportspeople to carry forward their sports journey under better supervision and measures.
Furthermore, the updates also clarified that the meeting was marked as a significant step towards improving and enhancing the Conaree Football Stadium. Prime Minister Drew held an interactive meeting with the locals of the Conaree Community.
During the meeting, PM Drew asked for the reviews and ideas of the people in order to get more input on the stadium for different aspects. It was outlined that “The government of St Kitts and Nevis, with the help of the Department of Sports and Public Works Department, has been committed to uplift different sectors in the country.”
The reports have said that the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis has taken part in the Townhall meeting in the capacity of a special guest along with the Ministry of Sports and Public Works Department. Moreover, he also explained and discussed a range of futuristic ideas and plans with the Conaree community people, which will be added to the football stadium and uplift its overall infrastructure and demand.
