Indian men’s cricket team enjoys unparalleled hospitality in Dominica

Roseau, Dominica: The Commonwealth of Dominica has been offering world-class and luxurious staying experiences to the players of the Indian Men’s Cricket Team following their arrival in the nature island for an Indian tour of the West Indies in 2023. 

The players have been sharing their special experience of staying in Dominica through their official social media handles, praising the mesmerizing beauty of the country.

As per the reports, the Indian men’s cricket team played its first test match against West Indies starting on 12 July 2023 and won by 141 runs and innings. 

Upon their arrival and after the special win, Indian players have been utilizing their free time to explore nature and extraordinary places in the Commonwealth of Dominica.  

According to the updates shared by the Ministry of Tourism officials, the Indian cricket team players are visiting the Commonwealth of Dominica for a bilateral series after a long period of time of almost 11 years. 

The information was shared by the former Indian captain and senior player Virat Kohli through his official Instagram account, mentioning his joy and happiness in visiting Dominica.

While tracking the record of the players’ visits to different places in nature island, the Ministry of Tourism noted, “Team Indian’s Victory in Dominica didn’t just end on the #Cricket pitch! They embarked on an incredible journey of discovering our breathtaking Nature Island!”. 

In this regard, it was added that the players have been posting various photographs on their social media handles, expressing their overwhelming experiences and love from the residents.

Furthermore, “From the stunning Intercontinental Dominica Resort & Spa to the exhilarating Ti Tou Gorge and captivating boat tour on the Caribbean Sea, they experienced it all! Our paradise left them speechless!” outlined Ministry of Tourism officials. 

The Tourism Ministry officials have also expressed pride and pleasure in hosting the Indian Cricket Team players in the Commonwealth of Dominica and offering world-class services and experiences.

Renowned Indian cricketers such as Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Navdeep Saini, Kona Srikar Bharat, Jaidev Unadkat, Ravichandran Ashwin along with Ishan Kishan have taken to their Instagram accounts to share glimpses of their stay in Dominica.

Both the teams will come face to face against each other in the second test match from 20 to 25 July 2023, where India leads the series 1-0. After the test series, India and West Indies will also compete in 3 ODIs and 5 T20s, per the schedule.
