Merlin Gopi, the current president of WIT, described briefly that the event provides a unique platform for women job seekers of various nationalities to meet with representatives of different companies under one roof, offering many job opportunities.

“WIT feels proudful and privileged to be organiser of  this All Women’s Job Fair,” she said.
Speaking specifically about the need to host such kind of event, Gopi said: “We are trying to support women to be independent financially, have knowledge, courage and self-respect.

She also mentioned the other initiative being conducted by the WIT, includes talent hunt shows and entertainment events across different parts of Dubai.

.
She also explained that, “After every event, we take feedback from our participants and we got many requests from the members for this kind of job fair in other parts of the country.

According to her, many of them are highly educated but lack enough support, guidance and connections to emloyers  to get a dream job as per their skill and education level.

So to facilitate these talented and aspiring women, we approached companies and decided to go with a career fair open to women jobseekers of all nationalities.
