Bahrain: Health Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jaleela Jawad Hassan, participated at the beginning of the conference and the first exhibition of the reality and future of pharmacy in the Kingdom of Bahrain held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health.
In her remarks, Minister of Health Jaleela Hassan emphasized, “The Kingdom of Bahrain is interested in organizing and hosting conferences and health exhibitions.”
She further pointed out that Doctor Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health, confirmed the interest and willingness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to organize and host health conferences and exhibitions.
She further cited that such exhibitions and conferences aimed at exchanging experiences with specialists relevant in the sector from different countries of the world. The shared experiences in this field will help enhance and enrich health capabilities and knowledge, said reports.
Furthermore, the knowledge and information gathered from the specialists provide a supportive environment for competencies. Health is about finding the best innovative solutions, which enhance the health system’s effectiveness and sustainability and keenly offer the best quality and most efficient health services to all members of the community in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This came during the opening of the conference and the first exhibition of the reality and future of pharmacy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Dr Jaleela Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, senior officials from various government and private sectors concerned, Bahraini pharmacists, Gulf pharmacists, professionals and pharmacists with experts and specialists from different countries of the world,
which was organized by an association of Bahraini Pharmacists in cooperation with Bahrain University, strategic partnership and support of a number of government and private entities at the Gulf Conference Center at the Gulf Hotel.
The conference was opened by Dr Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health, in a speech in which he welcomed the conference on the Reality and Future of Pharmacy.
The conference brings together specialists and interested pharmacists, academics and health policy makers, which aims to bring together pharmacy stakeholders at the local, Gulf and global levels in various Branches of pharmacy and pharmaceutical manufacturing to recognize future insights, view updates and benefit from international experiences and experiences in different fields of pharmacy.
