US official warns Iran to stay away from Israel-Palestine conflict.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General CQ Brown, has warned Iran to stay away from the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. He said it is necessary to avoid the further escalation of clashes.

Brown told a group of reporters on Monday that the movement of the US armed contingent toward Israel was all aimed at to  deter Iran.

US officials are planning for a long war and have made consistent efforts over the weekend to discourage Israel’s opponents from taking advantage of the fresh turmoil that surfaced after early staurday morning rockets attcks by Hamas.

Movement of our forces was not just to help Israel in this difficult hour but to stop Iran’s involvement was also on the our agenda, said Brown in his first public comments as the US’s top general since taking up this role just a week ago.

His comments came just an hour ahead  of his scheduled journey, his journey was scheduled  to Brussels for a meeting of a group of nearly 50 nations backing Ukraine in its war with Russia.

“We want to give a clear message to all the countries, especially countries of the Middle East, not to do anything that can prompt the violence further,” he added.

American officials have said that until now, they have no reliable information which reflects any involvement of  Iran. But At the same time, officials added that Iram is the biggest supporter of terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah of Lebanon.

It is to be added specifically that Israeli helicopters struck in Lebanese territory after Israel’s military said it killed a number of militants who had crossed into the country from
Lebanon side.

In a statement in  regard of the deaths of three of its fighters, Hizbollah said it had fired rockets and mortars on two Israeli military posts across the border in Galilee.

Shortly before leaving Washington, Brown spoke with his counterpart from Israel, Lt Gen Herzi Halevi, chief of staff of the Israeli military, to take stock of the security situation in Israel and US steps to bolster regional deterrence.

US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin already offered planning and intelligence services to Israel’s defence minister Yoav Gallant as Israel begins to plan to rescue hostages from the custody of Hamas terrorists.

The US President said earlier on Monday that the US believes that there are American nationals among those being held  captive in Gaza by terrorists.it is expected that the US president will mention the attack on Hams in the upcoming speech he is going to deliver from the white house.

Brown is heading to Brussels with the challenging mission of reassuring Ukraine’s supporters amid a difference of opinion among the Congress that hurled threats to delay the delivery of additional aid to Kyiv in light of  conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine.
