The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed that the expansion of Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on civilian objects, including schools, hospitals and population centres, is a condemnable and dangerous escalation in the course of confrontations. Moreover, these attacks will pose a serious threat to the security and stability of the region.

The statement also warns in this context that the dual approach of the global community, sometimes with silence and at other times with selectivity regarding war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people, will enhance the tension and expand the circle of atrocities.

This biased attitude of the international community will lead to further escalation and instability. In this regard, the Ministry calls on the global community to take responsibility and stop Israel from committing more crimes against civilians.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reiterates the firm stand of the State of Qatar regarding the justice of the Palestinian cause, the legal and fair rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of their independent state based on 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

It is worth mentioning that since the eruption of war, a large number of civilian has lost their lives. Additionally number of victims also includes a huge number of children. UNO has also warned that the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip is deteriorating with the passage of the day.
