The collaboration, which marks the third consecutive year of partnership, aims to encourage cycling and promote sustainability. On Sunday, November 10, participants in the Dubai Ride can enjoy free bike rentals at two pop-up stations strategically located near key entry points to the event

Dubai, UAE – In an exciting development for cycling enthusiasts and participants of the Dubai Ride, Careem has once again teamed up with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to provide free bike rentals for residents and tourists taking part in the city’s largest community cycling event.

The collaboration, which marks the third consecutive year of partnership, aims to encourage cycling and promote sustainability. On Sunday, November 10, participants in the Dubai Ride can enjoy free bike rentals at two pop-up stations strategically located near key entry points to the event.

The bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and users can access the bikes using the code “DR24” for a one-day free rental pass. The stations are located at Entrance A: Museum of the Future (MOTF), Trade Center Street, and Entrance E: Lower FCS, Financial Centre Road.

With Dubai Ride entering its fifth edition, the event is set to be bigger than ever, welcoming cyclists of all ages and abilities. The event is open to everyone, whether they are seasoned cyclists or first-timers, making it a fun, inclusive occasion for the whole family.

The event’s route will open to the public at 5 am, with cyclists officially starting their ride at 6:15 am. The event is expected to conclude by 8 am. Careem’s involvement in the event aligns with its continued commitment to fostering a culture of sustainable transportation and promoting healthier lifestyles in the UAE.

As a major player in the bike-sharing business in the region, Careem’s bike rentals are a convenient and eco-friendly alternative to other modes of transport, making them an ideal choice for the cycling event.

“This initiative by the RTA not only aims to make Dubai a bicycle-friendly city but also encourages the community to consider sustainable transportation alternatives.”

“Our partnership with Careem Bike plays an essential role in advancing key priorities — sustainability, health, safety, and customer happiness,” said Abdulrahman Mohammad Aljanahi, Director of Roads Right of Way, Traffic and Roads Agency, and Head of Sports Team at RTA.

By providing free bike rentals, we’re making it easier than ever for everyone to take part in this event, whether or not they have their own bike.”

The Dubai Ride has gained significant attention over the years, with thousands of cyclists taking to the streets to enjoy the city’s unique skyline and car-free roads.

This year’s event will once again showcase Dubai’s commitment to sustainability and its drive to foster a more bicycle-friendly environment.

Cyclists interested in taking part in the Dubai Ride and enjoying the free bike rentals can visit the designated Careem Bike stations at the Museum of the Future or Financial Centre Road on November 10.

With this initiative, Careem and the RTA continue to play a pivotal role in promoting healthy, sustainable, and community-driven initiatives in Dubai.
